With regard to the "a" used before words...the word "an" is NOT just used in front of words started with a vowel..."An" would go before honest; honor, etc.
But, what bothers me most is incorrect use of subject and object: Me and Him went to town; He gave it to she and I...Ugh! How did the teachers get hired that speak this way and teach this way?
